Differences among half-crystal-rhombus and Swarovski bicone includes faceting features and bead sizes

• Even if both are measured as 4 mm bicones, the faceting impact of half crystal bicones is similar to that of 4 mm faceted beads and, as a matter of fact, it makes them larger than 4 mm Swarovski beads. These last ones have a more sophisticated faceting that, subsequently, gives them an exclusive brightness

The ring has been woven with elastic-thread and it represents the example of new uses for Swarovski bicones. Step by step ...

1. weave a square of 4 mm faceted-beads by 3 rings each side. They are placed on three lines according to the technique of faceted bead-cross
2. make little flowers on the top, by lacing them on the basic structure of first step. After having made the external row, realize the finger ring in order to reach the opposite side and then insert both end wires into the ring rhombus. Weave the second row of little flowers (that is on the opposite side of the previous one).
3. At least the rhombus decoration is completed by inserting rocailles beads between faceted beads of the basic square. Now weave the central little flower row
