I) The choker - Thread 5 iridescent beads onto 2 head pins: after the first bead and the last but one insert 2 rings onto which to hook for a pin the chains and for the other one 2 triggers.

• 3 wires (stahldraht) per 35 (1° aloft), 36 (intermediate) and 37 cm (3° wire). Lace wire between the first one and the second bead on the pin with triggers and seal it by crimps. Then thread the bead sequence to reach the opposite side (head pin with chains).
• On the central wire there's a 10,5 cm bead spiral made by 3 mm twister after having inserted 13 x 4 mm Rayher beads and 10 ruby faceted (repeat 4 times the sequence + other 13 ruby glass beads ) on 0,50 mm copper wire. The bead spiral contains a metallic spiral (by 2 mm twister and 0,40 mm brass wire).

II. The ladybird: start from the spars -

Pass 1 metre x 0,30 mm wire through 6 black rocailles (R) , hook the 3rd choker wire, reenter into 6R. Thread 9R, lace the choker wire and go again into 6R. You have made the two spars hooked on the choker and the first ladybird row.

• Continue with weaving technique, and so insert the rocaille quantity pointed out by the scheme, that is to open by a click on the ladybird image, on a wire end while the other one passes through all the beads just inserted from top to bottom. At 4th row, before to tighten the basic row wires, add 2 x 70 cm extra wires for wings, that have to be made alone after having completed the body.
• For the legs .... once having finished the weaving of the row to which they are referred, pass a wire end into 9 rocailles and go back into 8R, skipping the last threaded one, for moving down wire towards the basic row and starting the next row.

III) The fringes between the choker and ladybird pendant by 3 wires (stahldraht) per 30 cm.

• With the most internal wire pass between the 2nd and the 3rd body row in order to exit on the front side at the last row center. With the 2nd wire reenter as soon as before the last left leg for exiting to the outside as soon as later. The 3rd wire passes through the ladybird: at the last row, add a crimp, and then your favourite beads. Fasten wires. Make the fringes obtained by 15 cm wire laced just before the 2nd rocailles on the last row of the ladybird body.
